General Overview

Due to the heavy-duty graphics engine antics needs a somewhat heavy-duty machine to run it. This is largely due to the many animations taking place at the same time. However all one would need is a simple Pentium to run it. However, to compile and run Antics Allegro 3.0.2 is required. Note that it is Allegro 3.0.2 full version and not 3.0.1(student addition).

You Do	You See
run Allegro 3.02 from the start menu (if Allegro is not installed on the system installing Allegro 3.02)	Allegro main window appears
click on the 'Load' from the tool bar	'Load' Dialog box appears
click (select) on the CD-ROM drive	CD_ROM drive is highlighted
click on the file name 'starthere.lsp'	'starthere.lsp' is highlighted
click on OK button	program loads, Antics window appears
click on the Run button on the tool bar	Antics simulation starts
